Ankital entered into Telugu film industry with the film Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, directed by YVS Chowdary. This veteran director saw her photographs and liked her Rasna baby image. The film Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo picked up slowly and went on to become a big hit. This tollywood actress got lots of appreciation for her glamour in Premalo Pavani Kalyan ,Simhadri.
